ACADEMIC YEAR IN GERMANY

Local guidance and support
STEP IN has a network of local counsellors that personally look after international students and thei host families.  Local Counselors live no more than an hour away from international students so that they can maintain regular contact with both students and families.

After arriving in Germany, our Local Counselors will provide students with an orientation. The orientation provides students with a wealth of valuable information.  In addition, Local Counselors also host a day trip for all exchange students in their region once every six months.  And in the event of an emergency, students can contact the STEP IN hotline and talk to one of our trained staff members any time, day or night.
